How Our Liquid In-Tank Inspection Works

Rocsole's Liquid In-Tank Inspection sees and detects interfaces and measures the water content of the product with the solid layer at the bottom. Utilizing safe, non-nuclear tomogrpahic technology, our service is performed by using a scanning sensor that is not affected by contamination (See Beyond -compliant).

Applications

This case study presents scanning results of 5000 m3 oil storage tanks in an oil refinery. The goal was to detect location of the interfaces to find out if an emulsion layer existed between the oil and water/metal sediment layer and to measure water content of the oil layer to define optimal residence time.
